Bad Boys for Life (2020) Why don’t you prepare yourself for watching a realistic action film?
It’s because the “Bad Boys for Life” is here in your nearest theatres. It’s the delayed sequel of Bad Boys series. The authority took 17 years to revamp the beauty of the film series after the release of Bad Boy II (2003). People have heard the Bad Boys’ names in the air of Miami. The chemistry between Martin Lawrence and Will Smith has presented the movie more thrilling and entertaining. They are impressive to the fixed audience of the Bad Boys franchise.
Detective Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Detective Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) maintains the rogue-police nature throughout the film. However, it may feel strange to hear a dialogue about them by someone; they are about to be “good…. men”. Mike and Marcus both are good with their personality and fly with the same ethics. Repetitive actions, car chases and crashes, massive, deadly weaponry, bomb blasts and lots of explosions – this film is jampacked with all diversities though you will find comic scenes and emotions rarely.
The film attracts the audiences to think about what the Bad Boys will do at their closest time to retire. Detective Burnett being grandpa seeks to withdraw officially from his life-long duty. He prefers to take rest than running towards the illusion. Lowrey prefers to fight, again and again, brings down the targeted criminals. There’s no sign of romanticism in his character. The story reaches apeak when someone tries to murder Lowrey. There’s no way to sit tightly. Instead, they both return to their old school of action! The opening scene of Lowrey’s turning the wheel of the Porsche at furious speed is the reflection of the phrase Bad Boys for Life.
Advanced Miami Metro Operations aka AMMO, has already been introduced in the Miami city. This is a special tech-savvy elite team of the Miami police department. The members of AMMO are a specialized group of experts to take down high-profile criminals. Armando, a resentful assassin, tries to assassinate Mike and perhaps, this is the moment when the story becomes thrilling. With the governing of Rita (Paola Núñez), AMMO becomes the reason why everyone should think Mike and Marcus are old and tedious.
If you are thoughtful enough, you will find Bad Boys for Life very much realistic and feel the story. No work is small and the Police job isn’t small at all. This film will take you to space where you will see the struggling of the cops.
The character “Mike Lawrey” couldn’t be better if performed by nonetheless than Will Smith. His wild stance, thirst for blood, self-love etc. are the notable things those led him to be a perfect match at the character. You can’t deny his action, sense of humour in this film. Martin Lawrance may not be familiar as Will Smith but he is not a matter to show pity on him. He is the perfect choice of the role-play of Marcus. Their presences in different scenes can make you theatregoers.
The antagonists Armando Armas (Jacob Scipio) and his mother Isabel Aretas (Kate del Castillo) become dull after the interval of the film. They merely appear in the second half of the film. Thus, it becomes too much one-sided, surrounded by heroes. Kelly (Vanessa Hudgens) and Rafe (Charles Melton) have the eligibility to play any film’s lead roles. But it seems that the directors were unlikely to use them appropriately. Besides, the AMMO team remains interesting.
Lack of ambition can be admirable here in this film. You can enjoy both action and comedy in different manners besides significant settings. It will make sure to expect none should die till the end. Chris Bremmer, Peter Craig and Joe Carnahan’s screenplay set the plot to hear several mind-striking dialogues. “He dies last”, “We had a deal”, One last time?” etc. are a couple of examples. Solid hip-hop, Urbana soundtrack are other specialities of Bad Boys for Life.
Overall, it’s a movie which can make you feel to be a star cop like Mike or Marcus in the film. January has got its one of the biggest hits. Enjoy!!!
